Juan is a founding partner of TRIBECA ABOGADOS, where he develops his commercial law practice. He is an expert in M&A, commercial contracts, private equity, and corporate restructuring. With over 20 years of experience, he advises large and medium-sized companies, investment funds, startups, and venture capital entities on local and multi-jurisdictional corporate matters. He leads international teams in acquisition and sale transactions, financing rounds, joint ventures, and other corporate operations.

He also has extensive experience in private contracting, corporate advisory, and corporate reorganizations of national and multinational groups. He also acts as a non-member secretary of the board of directors of well-known companies in various sectors.

He holds a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy from the Instituto Empresa. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Instituto de Capital Riesgo (INCARI). He teaches in the Master in International Law and in the Master in Business Law, Contracts and International Relations, both at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE), as well as in the advanced online Master in Private Equity at INCARI. He is the author of articles in the field of his specialty.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a corporate lawyer at KPMG Abogados.
