Juan is a founding partner of TRIBECA ABOGADOS, where he develops his practice in the area of Commercial Law. He is an expert in M&A, commercial contracting, private equity, and corporate restructurings. He has over 25 years of experience advising large and mid-sized companies, investment funds, start-ups, and venture capital entities on both local and cross-border corporate matters, leading international teams in acquisitions and sales, financing rounds, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. He combines his professional practice with teaching, serving as a professor at ISDE and IE Business School, and is a member of the board of directors at INCARI.

He teaches in the Master in International Law and in the Master in Business Law, Contracts and International Relations, both at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE), as well as in the advanced online Master in Private Equity at INCARI. He is also professor at Instituto Empresa (IE) and author of articles in the field of his specialty.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a corporate lawyer at KPMG Abogados.
