José Miguel is a founding partner of Tribeca Abogados, where he practices commercial law. He is an expert in Real Estate and Urban Planning Law, M&A, Commercial Contracts, Administrative, and Competition law.
He has over 20 years’ experience advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including restructurings, commercial contracts, company acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, due diligence processes and investment agreements, across sectors including energy, real estate, healthcare, logistics and manufacturing.
He has been individually recognised by Chambers and Partners in its European Guide 2026 within the General Business Law: Regions category, an edition in which the firm was also recognised for the first time. The firm has also been recognised by Legal 500 EMEA in Corporate and M&A since 2021 and by Best Lawyers since 2022. He is valued for his approachability, technical rigour, deep regulatory knowledge and his ability to propose solutions and execute them swiftly.
José Miguel holds a Law degree from the University of Zaragoza, a Master’s in Corporate Legal Advice from Instituto de Empresa (Madrid) and a Master’s in Public Law from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). He is a member of the Administrative Law section of the Zaragoza Bar Association and has served as adviser and drafter of legislative proposals for the Regional Parliament of Aragon.
Before joining the firm, José Miguel worked in the Administrative and Real Estate Law Department at Garrigues in Barcelona, and later headed the same department at the firm’s Zaragoza office.
